We have a certain blogger amongst us on IS (as of last evening at least, I suspect earlier) that feels it is okay to go there and post her hate about Cindy and her family but refuses to allow anyone to refute her nonsense on her blog. I, Kanzz, and others have posted and told her how she has things wrong and she just shuts down the comments section. Being pointed to another one yesterday and after Kanzz knocked her down once again, she refused to post mine. Then she decided to go to IS and in her own sleazy way thought she was hurting me. Quite frankly, I’m flattered and very amused.

Please note that she insists on calling all Cindy supporters, trolls and bleeding heart liberals. As a Republican, I personally am offended and ashamed to have someone of her likes as a member of the party. People like her are the reason that we are all called right-winged-nuts…. She fails to recognize that Laura Gunn and Bonnie Dumanis are both liberals. She herself reminds me of Jeremiah Wright, spewing her hate for her own agenda.

Now the reason for this post and just in case it is deleted it will be posted elsewhere…

I won’t quote the misfit but I will post my response to certain comments that she has made…tweaked a little when I found a couple of mistakes.

She questions why Todd’s latest tissues were sent to Canada and seems to not understand where they came from.. She remarks how suspicious it was and that he was cremated so quickly. Here is my response that she doesn’t have the guts to post….

The evidence that was tested this last time was samples from the organs from Todd's body. They were taken at autopsy, the same time as the ones that AFIP tested. The "Canada connection" must be with Laura Gunn because the defense had nothing to do with that. Laura Gunn herself sent these to Canada
WITHOUT agreement OR knowledge from the defense. At the time these samples were sent, Allen Bloom was out of the country and was still under the belief that these additional samples had been destroyed. These are the ones he asked for last year and he was told by the prosecutor that they had been destroyed. Suddenly in March of this year, the prosecutor "found" these tissues at Balboa Naval hospital where they have been stored for the last six years. On the box that they were in, there was a document, signed by Laura Gunn herself stating that she had reviewed ALL contents of this box.
There are still samples left that have not been tested. If they thought for one second that the latest results were not accurate they could and would send more off for testing.

You don't have to take my word for it. Go to your normal source of information on this case and read about it all. All the major networks have covered it. Channel 8 in San Diego even has video of the box of samples with Laura Gunn's signature on the box where it was setting in the same room where Todd's autopsy was performed.
And remember, Mrs. Sommer testified that it was her suggestion that Todd be
cremated, not Cindy's.

You call us trolls and bleeding heart liberals..I for one am not a liberal,
bleeding heart or otherwise.
After reading some of your blog you would be surprised to learn that I am on
the same side of the political fence (mostly) as you are.

The ones of us who continue to speak out for Cindy are not only doing it for her but for all of us. What was done here in this case is a travesty and everything our constitution is against. If you feel that what the San Diego District Attorney's office did to Todd and Cynthia Sommer in this case is
okay, ask your sons how they feel about this. What was done here is some of the very things that they are fighting against.
Ask them how they feel..

I've come across this kind of attitude on a different case as well; that anyone who supports a wrongfully convicted person is either an idiot or a "bleeding heart liberal," and other such nonsense. They also imply, if not directly state, that those who either disagree with a wrongful guilty verdict, no matter what the charge(s), are less than honest and good citizens, who shouldn't be challenging or disagreeing with ANY jury verdict. To that I say NONSENSE.

When a jury convicts a person on the kind of "behavior evidence" that was used against Cindy Sommer, that verdict SHOULD be questioned, and questioned VIGOROUSLY. Not to question or disagree with what is obviously such a biased verdict and one NOT based on evidence and due process of law puts every single one of us at risk of a frivolous prosecution, for no other "crime" than simply managing to tick off a self-righteous DA or ADA.

If we don't speak or at least write to question or disagree with verdicts that we believe were not based on the principles of law but instead were based on hatred and personal bias against anyone accused, we'll have what the banana "republics" of China and Cuba (to name just two) have; the terror of tyranny, with justice for NONE. That certainly isn't the kind of government I want, and one which no one else who values our Constitutional principles would want either.

I could accept that the jury only followed the evidence in this case IF I didn't know about the misconduct that took place, especially with the retired detective. I will never not believe that he didn’t know everything about this case that had been printed since the beginning. I have also recently begun to wonder how the hell he got on that jury to begin with. I do not trust that completely because it just seems too much of a coincidence that he made the statement when he read about the case in Aug 06, that he would love to be on that jury.
