This website was referred to me this weekend. I think it could really be a valuable asset and contains some great information. Maybe the legal system revolution will start with Rhode Island.

Will continue to check it out this weekend but so far, it has two thumbs up from me! _________________ "Evil triumphs when good men do nothing."

This is one of my favorite sections of this site so far....especially the Prosecutors tricks part - since the system is so stacked against the Defense already, the tricks employed by the Prosecution, IMO, are far more dangerous.
What an excellent and needed site this is! _________________ "Evil triumphs when good men do nothing."

Hi Saber! Thanks so much for posting this link, it looks like a GOLD mine for exposing dirty tricks played by the state. I have already marked it on my favorite places list, and will really check it out tomorrow. Or, if I get a chance, later on this evening.
Oh, and my copy of the book INDEFENSIBLE by David Feige is supposed to arrive this week. I had to put the book on special order, but I have a strong feeling it will be well worth the wait.

I'm having a tough time pulling myself away too. Here's a great page I just found:
The Pro Se Way, When It's Necessary to Litigate Without
Assistance From An Attorney
http://caught.net/prose/prose.htm
This page makes an excellent case for helping poor and lower-income people get assistance in legal matters without always having to seek lawyers for the work. I highly recommend it!
As Jami Floyd has pointed out more than once, the poor and low-income folks don't have the funds necessary to hire top criminal defense teams, and they don't have a level playing field as a result. SO true! And it is more often than not those without effective legal counsel who end up getting longer sentences, even for lesser and NON-violent offenses.

This page focuses on complaints against attorneys who have committed legal and prosecutorial misconduct in Rhode Island. It is very well organized, I just wish it provided information on misbehaving attorneys in other states besides Rhode Island.
http://caught.net/caught/lawlstp.htm
I'm wondering if we could do a similar area for complaints against specific attorneys who have committed acts of misconduct in other states? We don't have to have exactly the same format as this site. We could just list the names of attorneys who committed such acts, and specifies what those acts were, in broad detail. It's only a thought, however.

Dangerous, and I think practically crossing the line into UNETHICAL territory! And prosecutors and pro-prosecution judges wonder many people have lost all respect for "law enforcement!"
When law enforcement officials bend, twist and in some cases BREAK the laws and rules of criminal procedure to "win" (how can you win when you CHEAT?) cases, they don't deserve the trust of the people. By committing these acts of dirty tricks, at the expense of the people, and the constitution that is supposed to protect the people FROM those unethical tactics, they have forfeited that trust.
