Hi. I'm very new to this forum, and just recently heard of the case. I'm not even anywhere near America soil. I'm merely an outsider, looking for truths, for my own satisfaction. I read the DHS log not long ago and I made up my mind. RD is innocent and something is not right between the grandparents Briggs and Kelsey.
Questions: In the log dated 16/05/2005, it stated that "Kelsey tried to scratch Grandpa", "Kelsey continues to be mean to Grandpa" and she showed hostility towards Grandpa. Where did the Grandpa fit in this battle? Did anyone question about this Grandpa since Kelsey showed her aggresiveness towards him?
I cant seem to ask the Qs in TOPIX public forum since those KPs supporters are very despicable and my understanding in English blasphemy words comprehension is very limited. lol.

That's a great question - I wish I had the answer - maybe one of the members more familiar with the case will have an answer for both of us.

Hello, Leen, and welcome! I was really wondering about this too. My question is, did this hostility from Kelsey to her grandfather show up at only ONE DHS visit, or was there more than one time this open hostility from Kelsey happened? If it was more than once, then what was the reason?
As you said, Saber, one of the folks who knows this case better than we do might be able to shed more light on this question.

| She had a pattern of trying to bite, hit, scratch, and avoid both gp's in several visits. Noone but Raye was ever investigated for Kelsey's abuse, they just went off the reports made, which of course were all made by the Briggs family. All agencies did a horrible job investigating the allegations of abuse. |

What a polar opposite reaction Kelsey had whenever her mom was there or even when her mom walked into the room, didn't she. With her mom, little Kelsey is all hugs, smiles, laughter and playing, NO appearance of any hostility from Kelsey at all. Only tears sometimes when Raye had to leave, which is certainly understandable.
With the paternal grandparents....quite a different reaction, including biting, hitting, avoiding, etc., during several visits. That certainly tells ME who Kelsey obviously wanted to be with, and from her reaction, it was NOT anyone from her paternal family.

I want to also add that the Briggs said Lance was unavailable to be reached and would not give any info to DHS . If you notice LB calls during those visits. So they were absolutly able to reach him and even Judge Keys book states LB was in OK and never showed up for even one court date.
