We're in the midst of planning something we think will be HUGE, or we hope at least LOL! We're organizing a march which will take place in all the states.
The Freedom March will take place in late June/early July of 2009.
Marchers will walk approximately a mile to their state capitol with signs containing statistics and the names of those who have been wrongfully convicted. Once at the capitol there will be speakers and booths handing out information on wrongful convictions. Its time our nation and it's citizens became more informed on the reality of our unjust justice system. Join us for this powerful event! We will need March Organizers and volunteers for each state to help organize, if you would like to help please use the form on the "Get Involved" page to let us know.

Hi Kristi!
This is an excellent idea, and I wish you all every success. I hope RD is doing well, and that she will soon hear some good news on her case. It is certainly long overdue. I still think she deserves a new trial, or better yet, that ALL the charges against her be dismissed. I will go on hoping for one of those decisions to be made very soon.

This is a great idea. I hope to be able to participate...We're moving to Florida in May so I guess Tallahassee will be where I will need to check out.
