I know it's kind of "last minute," but I only got my computer back from "the repair shop" today, and have only had time this evening to catch up on emails, and delete most of my junk emails.
I've been following some of the IN SESSION cases the last couple of weeks, most of which I'd already seen last year. The Fred Cooper case was new to me though, I hadn't seen that one previously. Has anyone here been following this case as well? DS and I went out this afternoon after he got home from school, so I missed what the actual verdict was. I'm guessing either it was "guilty" (which I wasn't 100% convinced of) or a mistrial, due to absence of sufficient evidence.

Glad to see you back and so happy your PC is in working order...=)
DH and I had a wonderful Thanksgiving, although it was admittedly a tad lonely! We've been married for 9 years (closer to 10) and this was the first Thanksgiving we've had with no friends or family to join in. We were still thankful and blessed to have them in our lives even though we couldn't be together.
I sure hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving also...=)

Hey, Saber, glad to hear you folks had a nice Thanksgiving, albeit a bit lonely for you and your DH. I'm sure you'll get together with your good friends and family very soon. I know you're very thankful to have them, even if you couldn't see them this weekend, as I am grateful for the family and friends I have.
Sadly, I received word from my brother that we lost our Aunt Joan from England only this morning. She was my dad's younger sister, and we will miss her very much. She'd been very ill for some time, so it was not unexpected, but it's still a blow when the inevitable does happen.
Sorry for being so down, I just got the news only a few hours ago. This year hasn't been a good one for my family.

Justice, I'm so sorry to hear about your aunt. _________________ Justice is conscience, not a personal conscience but the conscience of the whole of humanity. Those who clearly recognize the voice of their own conscience usually recognize also the voice of justice.

Oh J! I am so sorry to hear about your aunt - first time I've been on several days so am just now seeing this sad news. You are right, no matter how 'expected' death is, it doesn't make it any easier to deal with. _________________ "Evil triumphs when good men do nothing."
