All 3 Dem candidates are statistically neck-and-neck in Iowa, with the Des Moines Register coming out strongly in favor of Clinton along with Kerry's unqualified support.

All 3 candidates seem to be energized, each for different reasons.

Fabulous primaries, in my opinion, that really give voters choices.

What do you think of Obama?

Not CW, obviously, but heck, I'll chime in anyway. :-D To be honest, I have my doubts about Obama, but I have doubts about Hilary Clinton as well. Of all the Democratic candidates, I am so far most impressed with John Edwards and Christopher Dodd.

None of the Republican candidates are people I would want in the White House, especially those who are so shamelessly pandering to the "Christian right," an oxymoron if I ever heard one! Did anyone hear the part of Romney's recent speech where he actually said "freedom requires religion?" I think that was replayed on MSNBC's "COUNTDOWN," but it could have been Hardball. I couldn't believe he actually said that, but he did.

What scares me is that so far, none of these candidates have participated in the kind of question-and-answer evenings with prospective voters, as I remember John Kerry doing in the 2004 election. If they want us to elect them, shouldn't they be required, at least once, to meet with "the people" and answer their honest questions, even the hard ones? If they can't be bothered to do that, one has to wonder what kind of person we will end up electing. I certainly do NOT want to elect another GWB clone. Eight years of this one has been damaging enough to this country as it is.
